- 2 stars for air flow design (not cigtechs fault though, but worthy of a mention). Not entirely compatibile between a manual 510 battery that doesn't have the center hole and the 808-D1 cartomizer, but factor in that I am quite picky about my air flow, so it's probably just "my bad". However, I remedied the situation with a V file and filed down a V channel on the 808/901 side parallel to the slim channel already on the positive pole. Yes, this means you have to cut into the threads, but that's the whole point. This turns the threads into a micro air flow channel and creates an easier draw. Before I done all that I also discovered one of the 2 air flow holes on the negative 808/901 pole was clogged with something (I think it's some kind of hardened resin compound the factory uses to assemble and separate the poles). No problem, a good needle fixed that.
I bought 2 of these adapters just in case I had to modify one. Glad I did.
My second adapter is safe and sound in it's original configuration, which works fine on an automatic 510 battery. It has the center hole.
I don't mind a little work, so I'm still giving it an overall 4 stars. It's still a great gadget at a super low price. Thanks CigTechs.

Talk about timing!!! I was literally about to place an order for this adapter on another site for twice the price! Just before I did, I recieved a new e-mail from Chris notifying me that this product was now available at CigTechs!!! My goal is to be able to use the 510 battery with all these Bloog and Red Dragon cartomizers I have laying around. As soon as I get the adapter I will post my results. 5 stars now for price and availability.
